The sleeve is constructed from a 72% nylon / 28% elastane blend that provides 20-25 mmHg graduated compression — the clinical standard for sports compression wear — applied from the ankle upward to maximize the circulatory benefits of compression during explosive activity. The integral rear pocket runs the full length of the calf at the shin’s frontal position, securing the guard through friction and pocket retention simultaneously rather than relying on external straps. The pocket is sized to accommodate all standard slim-profile slip-in shin guards, with the pocket opening positioned at the top for easy insertion and removal. A non-slip silicone ankle band prevents the sleeve from migrating downward under the force of repeated sprinting and direction-change movements.
