Designed for central defenders, midfield combatants, and any player who regularly operates in physical contact zones where the probability of direct shin impact is high, the Armour Pro prioritizes protection integrity without the weight penalty that solid polypropylene guards of equivalent protection rating carry. The outer shell is a carbon fiber reinforced polymer composite that achieves protection class C — the highest classification for shin guard impact resistance — while delivering a shell weight of 180 grams per guard, compared to 260 grams for equivalent polypropylene alternatives. The carbon fiber construction also provides the structural rigidity necessary to maintain protective coverage across the full impact zone even after repeated contact — polypropylene guards develop permanent deformation under sustained impact that gradually reduces their effective protection area. The inner foam system uses a triple-layer construction: a 5mm open-cell PU foam comfort layer, a 10mm closed-cell EVA impact absorption layer, and a 3mm molded polypropylene backing plate that prevents the foam from bottoming out under maximum impact. The entire interior lining is treated with an antimicrobial agent that prevents bacteria accumulation during extended wearing. A removable ankle guard attachment system provides optional additional ankle protection.
